2012 And What It Means For You!

by sozos on January 13, 2012

Beyond 2012Sure Its 2012 now, but what does that really mean? Is the only thing it stands for a random set of numbers on paper or in your calendar? What is the significance of this year and how will it be different from 2011? These questions may seem random and unimportant, however they are the key to how your going to live this yearthrough. What its going to mean for you. The changes you are going to face. The truth that you will realize and the goals you will set for yourself.

Its all on you. I mean 2012 is all about YOU. Its your reality and you need to start acting like it. I don’t mean being incredible selfish and stop caring about others. I mean caring enough about yourself to put your priorities in order and set out to achieve all the goals you want. Make the changes you wish to make etc.  If you want to quit smoking. This IS the year to do it. If you want to improve your financial situation then THIS is the year for that too.

What I’m getting at. You might just say its another year, but if you can be aware enough of this very moment. Stop and think about how great it is to have a fresh year to set goals and make any changes you want to change. It feels good to start a new year with this mindset. I’m looking forward to exercises more. I’m going to join a local martial arts school and continue training where I left off several years ago. I have to start from scratch in rankings but who cares about things like that. In a real fight the color of your belt does not determine the winner. Just like in life your current situation does not determine your future situation.

Take action now and write down any changes or goals you have for 2012. It doesn’t need to be a big list, 1 or 2 items is fine. In-fact the less goals the easier it will be for you to focus on them. I will share with you my goals for 2012:

  • Create a passive income of $3000 per month
  • Do something creative at least once per day(such as write an article like this or create artwork etc)
  • Train martial arts once or more per week
  • Ride my bike at least once per week

Those are my main goals for 2012. You can see I have one main goal to focus on, at the top of my list. Then I have 3 more simpler goals. One that is daily and won’t take more than 15minutes if I’m short on time. The other two are only once per week minimum which also does not consume a great deal of time. All you need is to make a small step towards your goals then follow it up by more small steps until you reach your destination.

I hope you enjoyed reading this article as much as I enjoyed writing it. I really do love to write yet I often avoid writing articles. I will endeavour to change this and write many more articles based on creating your own reality and create more awareness in yourself and every decision you make!

Peace and Love to all

Jordan,
You have said everything I’ve needed to hear, to get motivated to achieve my 2012 goals. You’ve even inspired me to write more articles for my website ( http://www.eathealthylivefit.com ), this year :)
Thanks!
